The event will be held at the Manual Career & Technical Center (1215 East Truman Road). MRC will collect essentially anything with a cord or battery (working or not) during the event. This is a great opportunity to get rid of small appliances, printers, cell phones, or other electronic items for free. 6/26/2021 | Electronics Recycling/Shredding Event – Overland Park

The city of Overland Park is hosting an electronics recycling and paper shredding event at Harmony Middle School (​10101 W 141st St, Overland Park, KS 66221) on Saturday, June 26 from 9 am to noon. Recycle your old electronics and have your documents securely shredded at this event. TVs are $35 each to recycle and CRT computer monitors are $25 each. All other electronics are accepted for free. Parkville will host an electronics recycling event on Saturday, August 7 (9 a.m. to noon) in Platte Landing Park. Open to everyone! Essentially anything with a cord or battery (working or not) is collected. Most items are recycled for free, with some exceptions.
