Habitat ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used appliances, household furniture and residential building supplies. With a few exceptions, we look for items that you would find in a “big box” home improvement store that we determine will sell in our retail stores.
Materials must be:
- Reusable - Must be usable by homeowners, small business owners and contractors for updating, repairs and renovations.
- Structurally sound & complete - Must be complete, intact, sturdy and free of major damage.
- Functional - Must be able to do what it was made to do. It needs to be ready to work “off the shelf” without any repair.
- Cosmetically appealing - Would you purchase the item in its current condition for your home?
- Sellable - Our trained staff must determine that the item will sell in our store.
Questions? Call (816) 875-6556.
