Recycling cans, paper, cardboard, plastic containers and glass is free to all residents in the Kansas City metro area (you do not have to live in Kearney).

Paper cups - Coffee and soda cups. Coffee sleeves are recyclable. Discard lids, straws and stirs. 

Plastic to-go cups - #1 and #5 only. Discard lids, straws and stirs. 

Glass - No TVs, mirrors, light bulbs, windshields/safety glass, fiberglass, or these glass-like items: ceramic, china, porcelain, milk glass, Pyrex, Corningware, Corelle.
