Recycling cans, paper, cardboard, plastic containers and glass is free to all residents in the Kansas City metro area (you do not have to live in Kearney).
Does not pay for any items accepted.
Glass - No TVs, mirrors, light bulbs, windshields/safety glass, fiberglass, or these glass-like items: ceramic, china, porcelain, milk glass, Pyrex, Corningware, Corelle.
Holiday trees - Natural holiday trees and greenery only. Remove lights, decorations, plastic bags and stands. Service provided Dec. 26, 2025 - Jan. 10, 2026 only.
Yard waste - Kearney residents only.
