We throw away a lot of stuff, often because it’s cheaper to replace rather than repair it or we just don’t know how to fix it. That’s where Repair Cafés come in! Together with our volunteers, you can have your broken items repaired instead of tossing them.
We’ll be doing fixes for items such as:
- Bikes
- Clothing/textiles (no alterations, please)
- Computers (Virus/malware removal, file transfers, other basic repairs)
- Electronics
- Jewelry
- Lamps
- Small appliances (e.g., replacing cords on hand mixers, toasters, irons, etc.)
