Waste reduction and reuse tips
Waste Reduction: the practice of designing, manufacturing, purchasing, or using materials (such as products and packaging) in ways that reduce the amount or toxicity of trash created.
Reducing waste during product development can reduce waste disposal and handling costs because it avoids the costs of recycling, municipal composting, landfilling and combustion. It also conserves resources and reduces pollution.

Reuse: Reusing items by repairing them, donating them or selling them.
Reusing products is even better than recycling because the item does not need to be reprocessed before it can be used again.
